UX Designer

Location: Hybrid

Type: Full-Time

Guaranteed Salary: £45K-46K

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Use appropriate methods to analyse research and triangulate findings across multiple research outputs.
  • Decide upon and produce artefacts based on the research and design including user journeys.
  • Create interactive prototypes to different levels of fidelity to be able to test design options.
  • Research for and design the information architecture to ensure users can navigate successfully..
  • Work and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams using agile methods.

Skills and Experience:

  • Deep analytical thinking with a strong ability to communicate insights clearly through presentations and reports.
  • Skilled in designing accessible systems and services, with a good understanding of WCAG 2.2 guidelines.
  • Experienced in creating intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences backed by solid user research and usability testing.
  • Proficient in prototyping and design tools including Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, and Balsamiq.
  • Familiar with research and analysis tools such as Dovetail, Mural, and Microsoft Forms.
  • Knowledge of Front End technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and analytical tools like Google Analytics (both desirable).
  • Comfortable working within Agile frameworks and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

IT Quality Tester

Location: Hybrid

About the Role

We are seeking a Test Analyst with hands-on experience forwarding to join our clients expanding Quality Assurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to move into IT and grow a career in software quality assurance.
While prior experience in QA or testing is a bonus, it's not required-our client is committed to providing full training for individuals who bring strong domain expertise and a passion for technology and quality.

About the Company
Our clients are a leading provider of logistics software, supporting freight forwarders and logistics companies in efficiently managing import and export processes.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborating with developers, BAs, and Test Managers to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and ensure delivery quality.
  • Identify, report, and track software issues with clarity and precision.
  • Build your technical skills and gain hands-on experience with modern QA practices and tools.
  • System Integration Testing (SIT) and driving structured test planning and execution.
  • Supporting testing for systems and physical devices.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Experience:
  • Strong understanding of SDLC life cycle and Defect Management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear verbal and written communication.
  • A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for learning new skills and technologies.
  • Proven ability to work independently and deliver under minimal supervision.

Nice-to-Have (But Not Essential):

  • Manual Testing expertise, with exposure to automation tools (eg, Selenium, SOAP UI).
  • Familiarity with Jira, Zephyr, and Confluence.
  • Previous experience in a QA or software testing role.
  • Exposure to Agile or Scrum teams.
  • Basic familiarity with Windows environments and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, APIs, CI/CD, virtual test environments, or web-based UI testing.
  • ISTQB/ISEB certification or equivalent qualifications.
